Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Supply Planner at the executive or senior executive level, depending on experience and competencies. The Supply Planner will be responsible for translating the demand plan into effective production and material plans, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Supply Chain departments to ensure a higher Sales Order Fill Rate. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, keen attention to detail, analytical abilities, and the capability to optimize production while minimizing inventory levels.

The Job

  • Translate the demand plan into actionable production schedules and material plans to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Production teams to understand demand forecasts, market trends, and other factors.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain team to monitor RM inventory levels, procurement lead times, and supplier performance, ensuring the timely availability of materials.
  • Analyze production capacity, lead times, and resource constraints to develop a feasible production plan that meets customer delivery requirements.
  • Communicate production plans and material requirements to internal stakeholders and external suppliers if required, ensuring alignment and timely execution.
  • Monitor production progress, identify potential bottlenecks or issues, and proactively address them to minimize disruptions to the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
  • Participate in regular meetings and discussions with Sales, Marketing, and Production teams to review production plans, inventory levels, and NPD updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, material requirements, and inventory levels, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes and systems to enhance efficiency, agility, and responsiveness.

The Person

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Mathematics / Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply planning or production scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing-related organization.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in planning and execution.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems, production planning software, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize production and inventory management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively address issues and implement solutions.
