The Job:
- Drive projects to reduce chronic and sporadic issues, thereby improving the business’s bottom line.
- Post-validation of critical and major complaints, drive CAPA with the relevant plant managers and suppliers. Provide expertise in conducting root cause analysis to complete the CAPA 100% on time.
- Directly manage the total scope of line QC for all value streams as per the company’s sampling plan.
- Conduct deep data analytics on DPMO, CQV, and CC, and escalate summary reports to relevant stakeholders through PBI dashboards with necessary corrections.
- Define critical control points in manufacturing operations following the completion of the Q risk assessment.
- Coordinate all quality reject notifications to relevant factories, 3Ps, suppliers, and R&D teams, and provide solutions for the business.
- Drive good manufacturing practices (GMP) and ensure compliance with standards in the responsible plants.
- Close gaps in process audits and external audit observations on time, with the support of relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct annual SOP/WI/SPEC reviews with the support of the R&D team.
- Conduct monthly QRM reviews, including manufacturing and supplier contexts.
- Govern the first time-right product launch for new product designs and new suppliers, following up with key action points through the FTR process.
- Conduct quality engagement programs to develop quality-related capabilities among production team members in plants and suppliers.
- Responsible for data visualization through Power BI dashboards for monthly and quarterly quality reviews and keep the master data sheet updated.
The Person:
- BSc (Hons) degree or an equivalent qualification in Material Science, Chemistry, or Physical Science. A Higher Diploma in Printing Technology will be an added advantage.
- More than 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the printing industry.
- Lead Auditor experience in ISO 9001:2015 for over 3 years.
- Six sigma green / black belt is an added advantage
- Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis.
- Experience with Power BI.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP/S4H.
- Practical knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control).
