ATLAS CONSUMER PROMOTION -2024/25:
“ATLAS BILEN DINUM” TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- These Terms and Conditions relate to the “Atlas Bilen Dinum” Consumer Promotion. Information on the manner of entry as well as the Prize forms part of these Terms and Conditions, and hence Entry to the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- The Promoter is Atlas Axillia Company (Private) Limited, a company duly incorporated under the Sri Lankan Companies Act, 07 of 2007 having Company Number PV7125 and having its registered office at “No. 96, Parakrama Road, Old Kandy Rd, Peliyagoda 11830” (“Promoter”).
- The Competition is organized by the Promoter to promote Atlas products, whereby a maximum of One thousand and Fifty (1,050) lucky consumers shall be eligible to win one of the following: a Main Prize valued at One Hundred Thousand Rupees (Rs. 100,000) each, or a Bill Wipe Out prize valued up to a maximum of Seven Thousand Five Hundred Rupees (Rs. 7,500) The total value of prizes awarded shall not exceed Twelve Million Five Hundred Thousand Rupees (Rs. 12,500,000). The Competition is subject to these Terms and Conditions set out herein.
4. Definitions
- “Bill of Purchase” shall mean the bill issued by either a General Trade Outlet, Modern Trade/Book Shop Chain Outlet, or a verified E-commerce Platform upon purchase of Atlas Products.
- “Competition” shall mean the competition conducted by the Promoter for the purpose of promoting Atlas Products, whereby the Consumers shall purchase Atlas Products and WhatsApp a photograph of the Bill of Purchase, in accordance with the procedure set out in Clause 5 below to win Prizes as set out in Clause 7.
- “Employees of the Promoter” means all persons employed by
- “Entry” shall mean entering into the Competition in the manner set out in Clause
- “Family members” shall mean spouse, ex-spouse, parent, step-parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, natural or adopted child, and sibling or step-sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent) of a person, whether or not they live in the same household.
- “Independent Auditor” shall have the same meaning as stipulated in Clause
- “Intellectual Property” shall mean trade-marks, service marks, trade names, domain names, logos, get-ups, patents, inventions, registered and unregistered design rights, copyrights, semi-conductor topography rights, database rights and all other similar rights in any part of the world including, where such rights are obtained or enhanced by registration, any registration of such rights and applications and rights to apply for such
- “Participant” shall mean the purchaser of the Products who enters the
- “Promoter” shall mean Atlas Axillia Company (Private)
- “Promotion” shall mean “Atlas Bilen Dinum” consumer promotion carried out by the
- “Promotional Period” shall mean 1st December 2024 until 15th February 2025 (11.59 p.m.), subject to any extension determined by the Promoter under clause 6.13.
- “Atas Products” shall refer to any product that carries the Atlas brand name or branding elements associated with Atlas.
- “Prize” shall mean either a “Main Prize” or a “Consolation Prize”, offered as follows;
- Main Prizes : Fifty (50) cash prizes, each valued at Rupees One Hundred Thousand (100,000);
- Bill Wipe-Out Prizes : One Thousand (1,000) prizes, each valued at up to a maximum of Rupees Seven Thousand Five Hundred (LKR 7,500), applied as a reimbursement for the amount spent on Atlas Products as shown on the Participant’s Bill of Purchase.
- “General Trade Outlets” shall mean small scale retail stores other than supermarkets and chain stores, where the promotional Atlas products are available.
- “Modern Trade and Book Shop Chain Outlets” shall mean supermarkets, minimarkets, and bookshop chains where promotional Atlas products are available.
- “E-commerce Platforms” shall mean verified online shopping platforms or websites where promotional Atlas products are available for purchase.
- “Regions” shall refer to the designated geographic areas from which eligible Entries are received and Winners are selected. Winners shall be chosen across different Regions, with allocations made according to predetermined ratios to ensure a fair and organized distribution. The specific Regions and the allocation breakdown are detailed in Annexure A.
- “Winner” shall mean the person selected by the Promoter as a result of participating in this Competition, though a random selection process as set out in Clause 7.
- “WhatsApp” shall mean the popularly used messaging channel to send text or images
- Unless the context otherwise requires, words in the singular shall include the plural and vice
- References to Clauses are to the Clauses of these Terms and
- Any words following the terms including, include, in particular, for example or any similar expression shall be construed as illustrative and shall not limit the sense of the words, description, definition, phrase or term preceding those terms.
- “Terms and Conditions” shall mean the terms and conditions contained
5. Manner of Entry
- To be eligible for participation in the Competition/Promotion, Participants are required to submit, via WhatsApp, an image/photograph of a valid Bill of Purchase, clearly indicating a cumulative purchase of Atlas Products amounting to no less than Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred (LKR 2,500). This submission must be directed to the designated contact number, 077 211 1333.
- The process of purchasing Atlas Products amounting to a minimum of Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred (Rs. 2,500), followed by the submission of an image/photograph of the corresponding Bill of Purchase, shall constitute a single (01) Entry into the Competition.
- The purchase of Atlas Products may consist of any quantity or combination of Atlas items provided they are listed under a single Bill of Purchase. Each Entry must be based on one (01) Bill of Purchase only and shall not aggregate multiple bills.
- Handwritten Bills of Purchase will be accepted for the Competition, provided they carry the official seal of the shop, the date of purchase, and contain clearly legible details of the Atlas Products and the total purchase amount. In the event that the handwritten details are unclear or illegible, the Promoter reserves the right to invalidate such entries at their discretion.
- The Promoter will only consider the values of Atlas Products that are clearly visible and legible on the Bill of Purchase for determining the cumulative purchase Any unclear, illegible, or incomplete details will not be
counted towards the total. The Promoter reserves the sole right to evaluate and determine the validity of the values shown on the Bill of Purchase, and the Promoter’s decision in this regard shall be final and binding.
- The Promoter will select a total of One Thousand and Fifty (1,050) Participants as Winners of the Competition in the manner morefully set out herein.

6. Conditions of Entry
- This Competition is open to all citizens residing in Sri Lanka, except for the employees and Family members of the Employees of the Promoter, its associate companies, advertising and promotional agencies and its auditors connected to the Promotion.
- The Consumers shall be eligible to participate in the Competition only upon purchasing Atlas Products within the Promotional Period as specified herein.
- The Promotion is conducted through island wide General Trade, Modern Trade/Book Shop Chain Outlets, and verified e-commerce platforms. Participants shall be qualified to take part in the Competition only upon purchase of the Products from any such outlets or platforms during the Promotional Period set out herein.
- The Promotion will be closed for participation after 11.59 p.m., on 15th of February 2025 and no person shall, under any circumstances, be eligible to participate in the Promotion and win Prizes after the Promotional
- Each WhatsApp Entry must include a clear photograph/image of a Bill of Purchase totaling over Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred (Rs. 2,500) in Atlas Products, with the outlet name clearly visible, to qualify as a valid Entry.
- Even if the Bill of Purchase includes items other than Atlas Products, the total value of Atlas Products purchased must be no less than Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred (LKR 2,500) to qualify for Entry into the Competition. Only the value of Atlas Products will be considered when determining eligibility, and purchases of other products will not contribute to the required total.
- Each uniquely verified bill shall constitute a single valid Entry. Participants may increase their chances of winning by submitting multiple unique Entries as set out in in Clause 5. However, while multiple Entries from the same Participant are permitted, no Participant shall be eligible to win more than one Prize regardless of the number of Entries submitted.
- Participants understand and agree that participation in the Promotion shall only be during the Promotional Period and not prior to and/or after the expiration of the Promotional Period (even though the consumer inquiry hotline shall be in operation prior to and/or after the expiration of the Promotional Period, as mentioned in Clause 11.12) and the participants shall not raise any claim and/or complaint against the Promoter and/or its Agents or representatives in this regard.
- It is the responsibility of the Participant to ensure that they send a complete and valid Entry within the stipulated guidelines and time period, as stated herein and the Promoter shall not be held responsible for not judging an incomplete or late Entry. An incomplete or late Entry shall be considered invalid.
- The Promoter makes the final determination as to which Entries are eligible to take part in the Competition and no correspondence and/or appeals will be entertained in this regard.
- The Participant is fully responsible for the Entry submitted by him/her. The Promoter shall not be liable in any way for an Entry including those held invalid as aforementioned.
- The Promoter‘s decisions regarding the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, the validation of entries, and the awarding of Prizes shall be final, conclusive, and uncontestable. Participants agree to abide by these decisions, and no further correspondence or appeals will be entertained in this regard.
- Participants accept and acknowledge that sending an Entry in the manner set out herein does not guarantee that such participant will be selected as a winner or otherwise be entitled to the Prizes on Offer.
- The Promoter and/or its Agents reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity/identity of the Entries and the Participants (including a participant’s place of residence and national identity card details) and to disqualify any participant who submits an Entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the Entry The Promoter‘s decision on the verification of all the participants/winners shall be final and conclusive. Furthermore, no correspondence will be entered into, between the Promoter and the Participant(s), in relation to any such decision taken by the Promoter. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss of a Prize (or otherwise) incurred on the Participant due to such decisions being made in this regard, as further stipulated in Clause 11.8.
- The Promoter (at its sole discretion) reserves the right to extend the Promotional Period (which shall be determined by the Promoter at its absolute discretion). If extended, these Terms and Conditions shall mutatis mutandis apply in relation to the updated Promotional Period provided by the Promoter.

7. Prizes
- A total of One Thousand and Fifty (1,050) winners will be selected and each winner is entitled to either a Main Prize or a Bill Wipe-Out, which shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions. Furthermore, out of these One Thousand and Fifty (1,050) winners total of:
- Fifty (50) winners shall be entitled to receive a Cash Prize, each valued at Rupees One Hundred Thousand (100,000); and
- One Thousand (1,000) winners shall be entitled to receive a Bill Wipe-Out of up to a maximum of Rupees Seven Thousand Five Hundred (Rs. 7,500) applied towards the amount spent on Atlas Products as indicated on their respective Bill of Purchase.
- Winners will be selected based on regional allocations to ensure fair representation across all participating Regions. The allocation of winners per Region is detailed in Annexure A: Regional Allocation Table attached
- The Promoter reserves the right to adjust the regional allocation of Winners based on the number of eligible entries received from each In the event that a Region does not receive sufficient entries to meet its allocated quota, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reallocate any unclaimed winner allocations to other Regions to ensure fairness and feasibility in the selection process.
- Participants are required to cooperate throughout the verification process, facilitating the confirmation of their eligibility for any winnings. Upon winning, Winners are obligated to furnish the Promoter and/or its authorized Agent with necessary information and documentation—including, but not limited to, name, NIC number, residential address, contact details, and bank account information (designated as the Winner’s nominated bank account)—as deemed necessary for eligibility verification and Prize disbursement. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Entry or Participant found in violation of these Terms and Conditions or involved in tampering with the Entry process.
- The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss of Prize due to incorrect address, contact details, NIC details, bank details etc., or any inaccuracies or insufficiencies in the information provided by the Winner.
- The Prize shall only be handed over directly to the winner or remitted to the winner’s nominated bank account (as applicable), as recorded in the Promoter’s records and as communicated by the winner. Under no circumstances shall the Prize be handed over, transferred, or remitted to any family member, relative (howsoever characterized), legal guardian, friend, or representative, or any other third party, nor shall it be deposited into any other individual’s bank account.
- All Prizes shall be awarded to the Winner without any financial obligation related to the acquisition of the Prize However, any supplementary expenses, including but not limited to meals, transportation, insurance, or other miscellaneous personal costs, shall be borne by the respective Winners.
- Prizes may be subject to applicable taxes, deductions and/or other charges as required by law, for which the Promoter bears no liability to the Participant/Winner and shall not reimburse any such deductions. Any additional costs incurred in relation to claiming the Prize, including transport, meals, and any ancillary expenses, shall be solely borne by the Winner.
- The Prizes awarded in this Promotion are non-assignable, non-transferable, and shall not be exchanged, substituted, or otherwise altered by the Winner.
- The Participant, upon acceptance of the Prize, agrees to fully comply with all applicable local laws, rules, regulations, and customary practices governing the enjoyment and utilization of any component of the The Participant acknowledges and assumes full responsibility for ensuring their compliance with such legal and customary obligations and agrees to indemnify and hold the Promoter harmless from any liability arising from any non-compliance or violation thereof.
- The Promoter will make all reasonable attempts to hand over the gifts to the winners within two months of the official end date of the promotion. However, unforeseen circumstances and challenges may affect the timeline, and the Promoter reserves the right to adjust the distribution schedule accordingly. Winners will be duly informed of any changes in the gift distribution timeline.
- Notifications regarding gift allocations will be informed to the Winners via an SMS sent with the mask name “Atlas World”.
8. Judging Criteria for the Raffle Draw
- Winner selection raffle draws (which will be based on a random computerized algorithm) shall be carried out weekly over the Promotional Period to select Prize Winners as set out in Clause 1, commencing from the 10th of December 2024 or on a date not later than three weeks from the start date of the Competition while the final draw will take place on the 18th of February 2025 or no more than one week subsequent to the closing date.
- Winners will be chosen through these raffle draws at the exclusive discretion of the Promoter, in the presence of the Independent Auditor as outlined below. The ultimate determination made by the Promoter shall be considered conclusive.
- All Winners will be contacted on or before 5th of March If the Winner is not able to be contacted within the period, that Winner shall forfeit the Prize and the Promoter may choose to abandon the said draw or to draw another Winner, and so on until a Winner is contacted to accept the Prize
- The Winners, when contacted during the Raffle Draw Announcement, shall provide necessary details (including information to verify the identity of the Winner) such as phone number, NIC number, and residential address, to the Promoter and/or its Agents, in order for the Promoter to provide the Winner with the relevant Prize.
9. Independent Auditors
- All Winners will be selected under the supervision of the officials of the Revenue Department of Western Provincial Council.
10. Waiver of Rights

11. Miscellaneous
- The Promoter’s decision on the verification of all the Participants shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to any decision taken by the Promoter.
- Winners agree that the Promoter has the sole right to decide on all matters and disputes arising from the Promotion and/or the Competition and that all decisions of the Promoter are final and binding on all parties.
- The Promoter may disqualify any Entry or Participant (including any Prize Winner) who tampers with the Entry process, submits an Entry not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions, or who has, in the opinion of the Promoter, engaged in conduct which is unlawful, improper, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promoter or Promotion and/or Competition.
- The Promoter assumes no responsibility, for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alternation of

- If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, natural disasters, postal strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, suspend or modify the Promotion.
- The Promoter assumes no responsibility, and accepts no liability, whether jointly or severally, for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, or alternation of Entries.
- By submitting an Entry, each Participant further warrants and represents that his/her Entry complies with all conditions stated in these Terms and Conditions, and agrees that the Promoter and its agents will bear no legal liability to the Participant or any third parties regarding the use of the Entry by the Promoter and its agents, and that the Promoter’s and its agents shall be indemnified and held harmless by Participant in the event it is subsequently discovered that the Participant has not fully complied with any of the Terms and Conditions set forth herein.
- The Promoter shall not be held responsible (to compensate (or otherwise)) for any loss, expense, injury or any other liability, whether direct, indirect, consequential, and foreseeable, due to some negligent act, omission or otherwise, arising out of the Promotion or due to participation, Entry and/or acceptance of a Prize by any person associated with this Promotion/Competition. The Participants shall indemnify and hold the Promoter and its ‘Agents’ (which shall include Employees of the Promoter, its respective successors, affiliates, officers, directors, subsidiaries, representatives, agents, and other vendor agencies, Prize dealers, advertising, promotion agencies and third parties facilitating the Competition) harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, and/or damages, liens, judgments, penalties, attorneys’ and consultants’ fees, expenses and/or liabilities arising out of, involving, or in connection therewith.
- The Promoter and its agents does not make any representation or warranty (expressed or implied) as to the completeness and accuracy of any advertising and/or publicity material pertaining to the Competition and the customer/consumer shall be solely responsible for its own assessment and evaluation of any such advertising and/or publicity material.
- The Promoter shall not be held responsible and/or liable for any action taken by the customer/consumer in reliance of any advertising and/or publicity material pertaining to the Competition.
- A consumer inquiry hotline (077 211 1333) dedicated to the Competition will be in operation from the commencement of the Promotional Period until the 29th of February 2025. Consumers are encouraged via advertisements to contact the hotline, to obtain more clarity on the Promotion’s terms (if required). Outgoing calls related to the promotion will originate from numbers within the range 011 419 5000 to 011 419 5099. The Promoter shall not be held responsible for any verbal information provided from numbers other than those specified, claiming to be associated with the Promotion or Competition. The Promoter shall also not be held accountable for any WhatsApp/text or information dispensed from any other number, other than the mobile number specified in Clause 5.1, claiming to be the Promoter and/or associated with the Promotion and/or

In the event of any inconsistency between the English, Sinhala and Tamil texts of these Terms and Conditions, the English text of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
